For residential, I take installed 3 brands... my expanse is not a huge market place for cooling. Did a full Tempstar install for my brother... information technology was all overhead equally the 2400 square human foot abode was on slab and had only a wall furnace... that was 9 years agone and cypher bad to say... quiet, variable blower and 3 stages of heat... Really went undersize and no regrets... there is a huge summer shade tree... all the drywall was pulled and insulation added as well as Marvin Windows... only needed a 30 amp circuit which was also nice considering that is what I had without changing the service. The Contactor I bought from noted that I was going undersize... I estimate having all premium ductwork and making it as shut to 100% as possible also helped. Had Rheem Heat Pump installed in Washington... it was considering I found a Mom and Popular contractor where the owner met me and his sons install... trivial pricey but I was away at the time so I wanted to have a responsible person that is local... | Don't get big box. Expect to spend about six to 9 thousand and stay to hell away from Lennox. I'd go with Trane, Rheem or Ruud. Trane is a higher end production and is very proficient. Rheem and Ruud are non then skilful looking but they are reliable tough and easy to work on. With a Trane you spend another 1000 for something you want to hide backside the house if you know what I mean. Rheem and Ruud you don't take to worry nigh that. |
